first i want to say i love your name.
getting into your question, the best would be an hdpvr with sony vagus but thats like upwards of $300. the most affordable way is to buy a roxio game capture. i use the roxio at the moment and it works great, i can upload in 720 hd and it comes with a pretty good editing software. it not as good as sony vagus but if your just starting out its definatly the cheepest and easyiest route to take.
i got mine off the machinima website for 69.99 and free shiping. they might still have that deal going on so start there.
hope this helps let me know if you got any other questions dude.

I havent seen any at any store near me. I would use amazon or google search for which ever you chose to buy. like i said machinima had a promotion going a few months ago i would start there.

If I were you, I would buy an HD PVR (200$) Get Sony Vegas Pro 11 for Free ( On YouTube EVERYWHERE ) Get Turtle Beaches (50-150$) and Get Audacity (Absolutely Free) If you buy an HD PVR, go to BamDanUK's YouTube channel to make the .M2TS files compatible with Sony Vegas You can get sony vegas for free and the HD PVR is the absolute highest quality on YouTube. Turtle Beaches can be plugged into your computer and used as a mic ( as good as a Blue Yeti ) Audacity records your voice in great quality and can record with your Turtle Beaches plugged in. If you want to see the amazing quality of all these components together, look at one of my videos. http://www.youtube.com/zRipL

Lol I just use an HDPVR. If you find a place that has a mean sale on it, it'll help you out on the long run. |

It is true that an HDPVR is the best. But for someone just starting out in youtube its much easier to spend $70 as apposed to over $200. Espcially now where it is very tuff to get out there, most ppl give up before ever getting 100 subs.
Dude if i was you i would just buy the roxio for $70, use it and if your channel takes off buy a better setup. that was my plan and if by some mericale i get 1k subs i will buy an HDPVR and sony vegus but right now Roxio is working just fine and roxio comes with its own editing software.
